This Inn has been in existence as a Bed & Breakfast since 1984. We are the third Innkeeper/owners and have had the Inn for 11 years. We realize that this is a small town , we are located on the main road (traffic) because it is an Original 1843 Stagecoach Inn. The Inn is 170 years old, not perfect in any way but if you stay long enough to find out, has its own charm and warmth.

With this in mind we ask that when you are checked in and see or feel that this is not the place for you or you are not happy about your room, you dont like our gardens or our appearance, or you dont want to be in a small town on the main road, please let us know on arrival. Make sure this is where you want to be!

Dont stay and accept our hospitality, eat our breakfast and then leave without a word of dissatisfaction only to go and place an "unkind and horrible review" online for others to see. Some guests just like to vent their "frustration" at the world and dont take into consideration the harm they are doing with such unkind words.

Have the courage to tell us and we will let you go on your way.

We want all our guests to enjoy their stay as well as enjoy our company!

Guest note: Hundreds of happy guests have stayed at out Inn but you will only remember the one bad review, that is the reality of being an Innkeeper! Please also remember as an Innkeeper we are not able to post a review on a "bad customer"
